A Human Washing Machine? It’s Happening in Japan
Imagine skipping the usual shower routine and stepping into a machine that washes you from head to toe while you just sit back and relax. Sounds futuristic, right? Well, that future might be closer than you think.
An Osaka-based company called Science has created a prototype they’re calling the “Mirai Ningen Sentakuki”, or “Human Washing Machine of the Future.” It looks like a cockpit and fills with water once you sit down in its center seat.

But it’s not just about getting clean. The machine also monitors your pulse and other health data to make sure the water temperature is perfect for you.
What’s more, it projects calming images on the inside of its transparent cover, making the experience feel as relaxing as it is refreshing.
A Peek at the Future
For now, this incredible invention is just a concept. The company plans to showcase it at an expo in Osaka this April, where eight lucky visitors a day can try the 15-minute “wash and dry” experience by reservation.
But here’s the exciting part: Science is already working on a version for home use. They say it’s designed to “wash the mind” as well as the body.
Whether or not it hits the market anytime soon, this idea is already making waves. Would you trade your shower for a human washing machine?
